It was seventy years ago that the United States was thrust into the horrors of war with the Japanese attack on the US Pacific Fleet in Pearl Harbor, which remained the most costly act of terror to take place against America for sixty years. The war which ensued forever altered the shape of not only the nation but the world as a whole. It is important to never forget these days or the sacrifices made by the people who lived through them.
